At Museums Victoria, we wanted to open the door for First Peoples Youth to learn and grow in all areas of the Museum. An opportunity to nurture and build career pathways, with mentoring and a chance to try new areas. The First Peoples Cadetship program can give you an understanding of working in the GLAM Sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums) and a chance to network with Curators, Scientists, Collection Managers, Designers and more.
Whether you already have an interest in the Museum, or not, there is a range of opportunities across many different departments at the Museum:
Sciences (Live Exhibits, Palaeontology, Collection Management)
History & Technology (Curators, Research, Collections)
