Jack Gregory is a 13 year old up and coming country music sensation. His Mum brought him a guitar when he was just 5 years old. Jack is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and story teller. He lives on a farm near Yackandandah, in Victoria.
Jack has competed and done very well in many Talent Quests. Last year he come 1st in the Rutherglen and Kilmore heats of the National Busking Championships and competed in the Australian National Busking grand final in Cooma where he came 3rd in the Primary section.
This year he got 3rd at Kilmore and 2nd at Rutherglen in the Secondary section. He loves Busking. Last year he busked his way to Tamworth a dream he wanted for a long time, he would sit at home and watch the Golden Guitar awards. This year he fulfilled that dream and had an incredible time in Tamworth.
He even got to stroll the red carpet at the Golden guitar awards with his home town old mate Pete Denahy.
Jack received tickets for Xmas to go see his American country music inspiration Luke Combs, and will see his show Sunday night. Jack is so excited. And says one day he will play in a stadium!
On September 2nd Jack is a special guest for Australia's female country artist of the year Amber Lawrence. Jack says it's a real honour to play for Amber at her Albury show.
Jack has recently been on TV and radio after getting his first paid pub gig in his local town of Yackandandah. Since then he has returned and also has a few other gigs booked before the end of year. He is saving to get back to Tamworth Country Music Festival in January. And would also like to save up for a new guitar!
On December 1st Jack is playing at The reg Fest in Wangaratta. This will massive for Jack. Playing alongside James Blundell, Adam Brand, Sunny cowgirls, Andrew Swift, Sara Storer, Jayne Denham and Danny Phegan.
Jack has been very busy writing and working on new songs and will start a Spotify account very soon! Attending year 7 at high school he practices every day even before school!
