Multi-Award Winning Artist, Nina Ferro has a chat with Wendy and Pete about her Musical Journey.

Nina Ferro is a multi-award-winning vocalist, songwriter, session and recording artist whose powerful, evocative voice, stunning vocal range and captivating stage presence have earned her an enviable international reputation. With eight solo albums to her credit, Nina has made guest appearances on ARIA award winning albums and appeared on TV, radio and in print media across the globe.

Nina spoke with Friends With Wendy and Pete about her musical journey, and her show on Mother’s Day with Nichaud Fitzgibbon and Julie O’Hara. She also talked about her upcoming shows with Tottie Goldsmith at Memo Music Hall, and her show with Brendan Reilly at Jazz Lab.


Nina has opened as the special guest artist for Tony Bennett, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Juanes and Grammy Award winning industry legends Gregory Porter, Charles Aznavour and Neil Sedaka.


For over a decade Nina lived and performed in London, holding down a residency at the world famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club performing over 80 shows and supporting jazz legends such as Chick Corea, Dave Sandborn, Jimmy Smith, Chris Botti, Jose Feliciano and many more.


You can hear Nina’s vocal talents on Film & TV shows such as Dancing With The Stars, The Masked Singer, Australia’s Got Talent, X Factor, I Mother (Netflix). Not to mention wowing not only the judges but also Aussie audiences when she appeared on Season 5 of The Voice Australia (2016).


Most recently, Nina blew audiences away with her portrayal as Judy Garland in the show ‘Judy Australia 1964’ performed under the Midsumma Festival Umbrella in Melbourne.

Nina is one of the most sought after vocalists on the international circuit. Whether she’s swinging out a Jazz standard or belting out a soul ballad, there is no underestimating her unequalled talents!
