As we continue to speak with candidates for the First People's Assembly of Victoria, I caught up with Rueben Berg.

A Gunditjmara man living in Melbourne, Mr. Berg has opted to stand for election within the Metropolitan voting area.

Mr. Berg believes that his current roles will stand him in good stead within the Assembly. Key among those roles are: Commissioner for the Victorian Environmental Water Holder, and Director of Westernport Water, the company responsible for supplying drinking water, recycled water, and sewerage services to customers on Phillip Island and the district between Archies Creek and The Gurdies.

Mr Berg is also a member of the Heritage Council of Victoria.
