Be Deadly Jobs Fair 2023 was held at AAL and hosted by WCIG to encourage first nations job seekers.

Updated: Aug 9, 2023

The first Be Deadly Jobs Fair was held by WCIG at AAL in Thornbury today. It was great to see such a great turnout and to connect with many of the employers to talk about the services and opportunities.

The Job Fair event is dedicated to promoting indigenous jobseekers and their families. Connecting employers with indigenous individuals and allowing jobseekers to showcase their skills and explore various job opportunities.

There was a variety of work industries from construction, health, sports, and government services this provided job seekers to explore their interests in their career pathways.

Thank you to Aunty Zeta Thompson for the Welcome to Country and Brent Watkins for his performance, guest speaker Kyle Vander Kuyp and all the job seekers and job providers, those in attendance and those who joined us on the 3KND network.
