When you hear the name all resonate with this Country music star on the rise. Fresh off the back of a very successful year as a top ten grand finalist in the prestigious Toyota Star Maker Competition 2022 and receiving honourable mention in the Unsigned Only Music Competition.

Billie-Jo has become a highly sought-after songwriter and performer. Her energetic and engaging presence was a hit at the Tamworth Country Music Festival2023, where she performed at multiple venues, including two appearances on the main Toyota Park stage for the "Americana In the Park" and "Sunny Cowgirls Girls Night Out" events.


Billie-Jo Porter’s journey into music has been a natural one. Neighbouring the nation's country music capital Tamworth, it seems appropriate that Billie-Jo felt drawn to country music. Billie-Jo is no stranger to songwriting success. As well as being named semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and finalist in The Unsigned Only Music Competition she has teamed up with some of the best emerging country artists including the 2023 Toyota Star Maker winner Loren Ryan. Together they wrote Loren’s winning anthem ‘Bounce Back’ which is receiving heavy support from radio and has landed in the Country Town Hot 50.Billie-Jo also joins the Spotify streaming millionaire club for the co-write with Andrew Swifton his smash hit ‘Head Full of Honey’ reaching No.7 on The Music Network’s Hot 50 airplay charts clocking over a million streams on Spotify.


Billie-Jo cut her teeth supporting artists including Thirsty Merc, Tim Freedman, Sunny Cowgirls, Mama Kin Spender, Drew McAllister and Catherine Britt and has frequented festivals including Tamworth Country Music Festival, Boots & Beach Festival and Bello Winter Music Festival, delighting audiences and generating a strong industry buzz. Her rising success captured the attention of multiple Golden Guitar and Aria Award winner Shane Nicholson, who produced her latest releases at The Sound Hole studios on The Central Coast. Billie-Jo’s debut single ‘Feels Like Us’ an upbeat, heart-warming love song co-written with Andrew Blyth at the Dag Sheep Station Songwriters Retreat debut at No.2 on the Itunes Singer/Songwriter chart, No.1 on AMRAP Regional Chart, No.15 on The Country town Music Network Chart and reached No.2 on Tamworth own 2TM’s Australian Country Music Chart.


Billie-Jo’s follow up single ‘Eyes Wide Open’ a happy beach-boho, live-and-let-live anthem debuted at No.6 on the iTunes Singer / Songwriter charts, No.3 on the AMRAP Regional Chart,No.35 on The Music Network Chart Country town Hot 50 and peaked at No.3 on 2TMAustralian Country Music Chart. ‘More Than Friends’ the third release for Billie-Jo was No.29 The Music Network Chart Country town Hot 50 and debuted at No.8 on the Singer/Songwriter charts on Apple Music. Added to three Apple Music curated playlists including Lil Bit Country, Country Risers &Aussie Country. ‘Let It All Roll Out’ debuted at No.10 on the iTunes Singer / Songwriter Charts, was playlisted on Apple Music Aussie Country.No.50 on Country town Hot 50 Chart SA New Songwriter of the Year Finalist 2023.
