Bob Jones was a backman who played for St Kilda after being recruited from Tasmania . He grew up in Darwin and was somewhat of a journey man playing football in 3 states ,Darwin ,Victoria and Tasmania. He has some funny stories that he shared about settling into Melbourne and tells the funny story about the time he tried to walk over the Westgate Bridge as well as his first taste of pre- season training with the Footscray Football club . His son Liam currently plays with Carlton .
