Children's Ground Celebrating families, culture and its importance Global Parents Day

On June the first we celebrated global Parents’ day. United Nations acknowledges the role of parents in shaping their child’s lives, and thereby this community is celebrated as.

National organisation Children’s Ground is doing some incredible work with Aboriginal communities by celebrating the wisdom and knowledge of First Nations parents and the family cultural systems that have been refined for over 60,000 years. They work with communities’ aspirations to bring families together by respecting their traditional cultural ways and empowering communities to flourish.

CEO Jane Vadiveloo, explains that Children’s Ground provides support for communities and supports to empower them to have their own voice and allows families to walk alongside their children.

Natasha Ferre caught up with Jane to hear more about Children’s ground and the amazing work that is taking place with families and children in community.
