Darebin Council School Yarning Festival was run at the Aborigines Advancement League with most schools in the region taking part.
This event is becoming a must attend festival for schools as they become immersed in aboriginal culture, Aunty Joy Murphy welcoming us to country followed by storytelling to the delight of all those who attended.
3KND provided a live to air broadcast and ended with an introduction to media workshop that those who attended enjoyed.
Nova Peris OAM attended today’s Yarning Festival to the delight of all those who attended, Nova is an Australian Icon and Olympic gold medal winner who is passionate about education and pathways for Aussie kids.
