Joshua Vickery-Stewart is a Gunditjmara and Yorta Yorta man who has completed the Monash Indigenous Access Program (MIAP) which is a scholarship funded bridging program designed to prepare students for entry into a variety of undergraduate degrees at Monash University. Joshua joins 3KND's On Track to talk about how how he's staying on track with his studies during lockdown. Currently studying a Bachelor in Arts, he says he wants to see more Aboriginal Victorians to be represented in higher level education.
These pathways are specifically designed to support Indigenous Australians in making a successful transition to university study. The program develops skills which enable success in a university environment.
