Over the weekend, 3KND attended the first IndigiCon in Australia, held at the Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre in Preston.
Starting in 2016, the first Indigenous Comic Con gave a platform to Indigenous creatives in the Popular Culture industry. Now this premier event made it's way to Australia to provide this platform for the community in Oz.
Indigenous Comic Con Australia is a family friendly weekend for everyone. The were 30 vendors, including; illustrators, writers, designers and our film and television guests, plus some amazing Cosplayers!
Everyone, both indigenous and non-indigenous, enjoyed a safe and exciting place to have fun, to check out incredible cool art, listen to some music and support indigenous superheroes!
