NAIDOC Awards 2019 was the place to be...held at the Korin Gamadji Institute on Punt Road. People came from far and wide to see who would be crowned Mr, Miss, Sportsperson and NAIDOC Patron of The Year and from the strong lineup of contestants and those attending were in for a great night.
NAIDOC Awards winners for 2019 are:
Sports Person - Marissa Williamson, Miss NAIDOC - Yirgjhilya Lawrie, Mr NAIDOCs - Chris Saunders and NAIDOC Patron - Uncle Jack Charles.
The Victorian NAIDOC awards is about celebrating hard work by Aboriginal and Torres Strait people, and the contributions they have made to the Victorian community. 3KND were there broadcasting live to air across the network.
