Susan Rennie the Mayor of Darebin speaks about the council during the COVID-19 crisis



Susan Rennie is the Mayor of the City of Darebin, having been elected as a councillor there in October 2016. She is an accomplished public health professional with significant experience in public policy and governance. Susan spoke on 3KND about how council is coping with community needs during the COVID-19 crisis. What services are still being delivered and how is she dealing with 3 kids at home during a lockdown period plus helpful tips the Mayor can give listeners?



In addition to her role as a councillor, Susan is employed at the Victorian Local Governance Association (VLGA) and has many years' experience working alongside councils on public policy and community development projects. Prior to being with the VLGA, Susan worked for Primary Care Partnerships for almost 10 years.

In addition to holding a Doctorate in Social Work, Susan is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course.
