Uncle Dennis Fisher aka (Den the Fish) is a Waka Waka man from Queensland. During the COVID-19 Period Uncle “I’m loving coming in as it stops any mental loneliness that may happen due to being isolated”. Born in Maryborough, Uncle Den lived in the Cherbourg Settlement working on a dairy farm from the age of 10yrs.
Den joined 3KND in 2003 and has been a committed broadcaster and supporter of 3KND. You would normally see him working at the Royal Botanical Gardens, however due to COVID-19 he has been unable to work. Uncle talks on 3KND’s ON TRACK with specialist journalist Hayley McAdam about his experience in lockdown and how radio has helped him during this time.
