For over two decades, the Koorie LGBTIQA + community has been organising nights through Vic Naidoc to celebrate their blakness and beauty. Throughout the years, these events have evolved into what we now know as Pride Night, a celebration of culture, family and acceptance.
The Vic Naidoc Pride Gala provides an opportunity for the Koorie LGBTIQA+ community to come together and celebrate their identity in a safe space.
In 2023, we want to honour our Elders in line with the NAIDOC theme 'For Our Elders' by hosting a Gala dinner that offers full accessibility requirements and comfort for our respected Elders.
What a beautiful night of celebration, performance, art, culture and blak excellence. It all starts with a welcoming by Aunty Annette Xiberras
The Night of all nights we have to celebrate our Blak LGBTQIA+ elders, veterans and community. It is beautiful moments where members of our communities can rain down endless love for each other and those who have paved the way.
