What a Wonderful Week Of Interviews at Tamworth.


Friday was our last day of live Broadcasting and Interviews and we had on the Australian Icon John Williamson. He’s performed at some of Australia’s most historic and nation stopping events and to battlers across this vast country. His songs and music are for everyone.

After over 50 years in the music industry, an ARIA Hall of Fame member, 3 ARIA awards, 4 APRA awards, 8 Tamworth Songwriters Association awards, 8 MO awards, 24 Golden Guitar awards and sold more than 4 million albums in Australia earning numerous Gold and Platinum records. John Williamson was made a member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 1992.

John Williams0n is nominated for two Golden Guitar Awards this Year:

• Instrumental of the Year featuring Lindsay Waddington – Voice from the Heart

• Heritage song of the Year – Uluru ForeverGrowing up surrounded by the surf culture of Sydney’s Northern Beaches,




Jax Tonic may not be your typical country singer-songwriter, and that’s what sets him apart. Jax Tonic drawn to country by the truth in the lyrics and “raw nature” of the guitars. Jax played regularly in cover bands in the early 2000s where country featured heavily in his shows as The Juke Boy. “That has evolved over the years to the point where I’m fully immersed in it,” he said

Jax Tonic started playing music in 2000, he was playing in pubs 5 nights a week. He had a 16 year break getting married and raising a family. He is back now and played his latest single live ‘Sitting Here on the Beach” a bit of coastal cowboy, where you can kick of your boots and put your feet in the ocean.





Kevin will be touring and launching his second solo album “Three Ways” which will feature The Sulli-Vans, along with a children’s album which will feature a re-recorded version of his award-winning single ‘Outback Australia’ featuring the now famous, family harmonies – due for release May 2024.

Kevin Sullivan known for his diverse sound and show, taking you on an unforgettable journey from traditional Ballad’s, to anthems and toe tapping line dancing. Sullivan usually writes and performs songs that relate to people, places and culture of Australia, particularly the outback. With influences including his Dad who was a Dixie Land Jazz Pianist, Paul Kelly, Leonard Cohen, Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash.

Kevin, his wife/tour manager Belinda and their three young children son KJ (14), daughter Cha-Cha (12) and son Jet ( hit the road in November 2020. They’ve since travelled over 150,000 kms and performed over 250 shows across Australia AND performed on national television, auditioning for the inaugural The Voice: Generations.




Brooke Schubert stands tall as a shining beacon of versatility with no regard for the confines of genre. With 3 successful singles under her belt in 2023 and a handful of collaborations, Brooke has cemented her status as one of the best new live acts in Australian music scene. With over 1 million streams, countless festival appearances, tours and performances worldwide. Her forthcoming album slated, for release in April 2021 promises to be a game changer. Brooke shared the stage with Keith Urban during his ‘Light then Fuse’ tour of Australia.




Emma Donovan has been touring the country for over 20 years performing soulful songs and sharing powerful stories with audiences around the globe. Emma regularly performs songs in Gumbaynggirr and Noongar traditional languages. Emma is back in Tamworth where it began as an 11 year old with the family country music band – The Donovans. Following Tamworth will be a full national tour with the legendary Charley Crockett. Emma’s message for young people and musicians “Don’t limit yourself if you want to sing gospel with mum do it, if you want to sing a soul song with friends do it, don’t limit yourself. I love singing with family enjoy it. “ Mama Char said“Listen to the elders, they have done the hard yards”

Casey will be playing at the world’s biggest country music festival ‘Stagecoach Festival” which takes place at the Coachella site in California
